Meisner Technique: Level I – Foundations of the Meisner Technique: The Reality of Doing
Taught by Rachael Adler

Wednesdays 1 - 4pm, April 14 - June 16, 2010
In this course, students will learn the fundamentals of Meisner Technique: living moment-to-moment and responding truthfully to a scene partner’s behavior. Actors “get out of their heads” and start working from instinct, gaining access to truthful, dynamic behavior and authentic emotional responses. This course involves a series of rigorous improvisational exercises and scene work developed by Sanford Meisner at the Neighborhood Playhouse. Graduates of this course will see a profound difference in their booking rate and the quality of their acting performance.
Admissions through interview process.
